U.S. Air Force Reserve Airman 1st Class Shimari D. Junious graduated recently from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio, Texas.
He completed an intensive, eight-week program that included "training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills," according to a release from the U.S. Air Force.
Junious is the son of Earl Bostick of Ridgeland and Shirelle Junious of Summerton. He is the grandson of Mateline Junious of Pinewood.
He is a 2015 graduate of Scott's Branch High School.
