A 31-year-old woman told the Manning Police Department about 11:30 a.m. June 16 that her 35-year-old ex-boyfriend almost broke the gear shift of her car before snatching her pocket book valued at $50. The pocket book also contained the woman's South Carolina driver's license, bank cards, her Social Security Card and CPR and NCI certifications, along with her cell phone.
