OLANTA - Louis McKenzie, 79, husband of Essie Graham McKenzie, died Wednesday, May 24, 2017.
He was a son of the late Willis McKenzie and Julie Smith McKenzie.
He was a long-time employee of Samuels and Richardson Funeral Home= in Lake City and Samuels Funeral Home in Manning.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, May 27, 2017, at Greater St. James AME Church, 339 Moore St. in Lake City.
The Rev. Richard W. Crummy, pastor, will preside, the Rev. James Louis McKenzie will serve as eulogist, and Dr. Elder Leroy Graham will assist.
Burial will follow in McKenzie-Brown Cemetery in Lake City.
The family will receive friends at his home, 151 S. Myer Road in Olanta.
These services have been entrusted to Samuels Funeral Home LLC in Manning.
