Guilty Pleas: May 8-12

The following guilty pleas were heard before 3rd Circuit Court Judge George McFadden during a term of General Sessions Court in Clarendon County held from May 8 to 12 at the Clarendon County Courthouse. William Lemoin Armstrong II of 287 Tiger Lily Road in Sumter pleaded guilty May 12 to receiving stolen goods of a value more than $2,000, but less than $10,000, receiving a sentence of five years in prison, suspended to 18 months' probation. Lamar Walter Bennett of 91 Hutto Court in Columbia pleaded guilty May 11 to manufacture, distribution, etc. of cocaine base, first offense, receiving a sentence of two years in prison, suspended to 18 months' probation. A charge of possession with intent to distribute of a controlled substance near a school was dropped during the plea. Tykeem Davon Bradley of 1383 Meagen Lane in Manning pleaded guilty May 12 to strong arm robbery, receiving a sentence of one year in prison, suspended to six months in prison and one year's probation. He was originally charged March 18 with armed robbery. A charge of possession of a weapon during a violent crime was dropped during the plea. Jordan Akeem Brock of 1945 Kenwood Road in Manning pleaded guilty May 11 to two counts of second-degree burglary, non-violent, receiving a sentence under the Youthful Offender Act not to exceed two years in prison, suspended to two years' probation. Allen Germaine Brockington of 2815 Mallett Road in Manning pleaded guilty May 11 to possession of cocaine, first offense, receiving a sentence of two years in prison, suspended to 18 months' probation. He also pleaded guilty to failure to stop for blue light, first offense, receiving a sentence under the Youthful Offender Act not to exceed two years in prison, suspended to 18 months' probation. Michael Angelo Busques of 241 Lake Ashwood Road in Sumter pleaded guilty May 11 to manufacture, distribution or possession of narcotic drugs in Schedule I and Schedule II, first offense, receiving a sentence of seven years concurrent to the sentence currently being served. He was originally charged March 4, 2016, with distribution of heroin, first offense. A charge of distribution, etc., of methamphetamine, first offense, was dropped. Joseph Allen Coard of 5785 Bethel Church Road in Pinewood pleaded guilty May 11 to second-degree burglary, non-violent, receiving a sentence of five years in prison, concurrent to the sentence he is already serving. Quarmaine Rashaad Collins of 1824 Clement Ave. No. 1 in North Charleston pleaded guilty May 12 to the manufacture, possession of other substance in Schedule I, II, III or flunitrazepam or analogue with intent to distribute, first offense, receiving a sentence of two years and 30 days in prison and 18 months' probation. He also pleaded guilty to failure to stop for a blue light, resulting in no injury or death, first offense, receiving the same sentence. Geavonte Ta'Rique Davis of 1218 Christopher St. in Manning pleaded guilty May 12 to two counts of second-degree burglary, non-violent, receiving a sentence under the Youthful Offender Act not to exceed two years in prison, suspended to two years' probation. Markel Antonio Dennis of 205 Major Drive in Manning pleaded guilty May 9 to strong arm robbery, receiving a sentence of one year in prison, suspended to six months in prison and one year's probation. He was originally charged with armed robbery March 18. A charge of possession of a weapon during a violent crime was dropped. Richard Paul Fordham of 3161 Arlen Road in Manning pleaded guilty May 9 to third-degree domestic violence, receiving a sentence of 90 days in jail. He was originally charged April 1 with second-degree domestic violence. He also pleaded guilty to resisting arrest, receiving a sentence of time-served. Fordham served two days in the Clarendon County Detention Center after his arrest Oct. 29, 2016, for this charge. Vincent Garris of 15 Walker St. in Manning pleaded guilty May 11 to third-degree domestic violence, receiving a sentence of 90 days in jail, suspended to time-served. Lauren D. Lewis Hilton of 402 Drayton St. in Manning pleaded guilty May 11 to seven counts of larceny, breaking into motor vehicles or tanks and pumps where fuel and lubricants are stored, receiving concurrent sentences of four years in prison, suspended to five years' probation. Ronnie Lee Hudson of 1665 Mims Road in Sumter pleaded guilty May 9 to shoplifting of a value of $2,000 or less, enhancement, receiving a sentence of six months in prison. Christopher Rashon Huggins of 1175 Christopher St. in Manning pleaded guilty May 11 to third-degree domestic violence, receiving a sentence of 90 days in jail. He was originally charged Jan. 18 with second-degree domestic violence. Marco Javon Johnson of 748 Wasau Road in Summerton pleaded guilty May 8 to first-degree assault and battery, receiving a sentence of 10 years in prison, suspended to five years in prison and three years' probation. A charge of attempted murder was dropped. Tinakia Marla Johnson of First Parson St. in Summerton pleaded guilty May 8 to resisting arrest, receiving a sentence of one year at the Palmetto Center. Tre Shawn Terrick Jones of 4688 Dingle Pond Road in Summerton pleaded guilty May 12 to third-degree burglary, first offense, receiving a sentence under the Youthful Offender Act not to exceed five years in prison, suspended to time-served and two years' probation. According to the Clarendon County Detention Center, Jones was held on a $15,000 surety bond since his arrest July 18, 2016. Steven Douglas Kennerly of 1731 White Oak Drive in Manning pleaded guilty May 9 to third-degree burglary, first-offense, receiving a sentence of five years in prison, suspended to one year in prison and two years' probation. Omani Rasheed McDaniel of 3110 Jenkins Drive in Darlington pleaded guilty May 11 to third-degree domestic violence, receiving a sentence of 90 days in jail. Reynaldo Mejias Negron of 405 McDougald Drive in Raeford, North Carolina, pleaded guilty May 11 to manufacture, possession or distribution of narcotic drugs in Schedule I and II, first offense, receiving a sentence of two years in prison, suspended to 18 months' probation. Michael David Rondeau of 4040 Golden Bay Drive in Sumter pleaded guilty May 9 to unlawful carrying of a pistol, receiving a sentence of six months in prison, suspended to six months' probation. He also pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm or ammunition by a person convicted of a violent felony, receiving a similar concurrent sentence. John Louis Seigle Jr. of 12917 S.C. 260 in Manning pleaded guilty May 11 to possession of a narcotic in Schedule I and II, first offense, receiving a sentence of 30 days in jail or the payment of a $100 fine. Corey Malik Simmons of 1305 Durant Lane in Manning pleaded guilty May 11 to second-degree burglary, non-violent, receiving a sentence of five years in prison, suspended to 90 days in jail and two years' probation. Willie Urricho Singleton of 1319 Wilson Ave. in Sumerton pleaded guilty May 11 to second-degree burglary, non-violent, receiving a sentence of five years in prison, suspended to 18 months' probation. Michael K. Sipe of 4341 Carlisle Pike No. B15 in Campfield, Pennsylvania, pleaded guilty May 9 to indecent exposure, receiving a sentence of time-served. According to the Clarendon County Detention Center, Sipe had been held on a $5,000 surety bond since his arrest April 10. William Jackson Sorrell of 1070 Jordan Church Road in Manning pleaded guilty May 11 to forgery of a value less than $10,000; financial transaction card fraud of a value more than $500 in a six-month period; and use of vehicle without permission for temporary purposes only, unconnected to any other crime. He received concurrent sentences of one year in prison, suspended to 24 months' probation. Seven charges of forgery and one charge of financial transaction card fraud were dropped during the plea. Brian Tereely Tindal of 4688 Dingle Pond Road in Summerton pleaded guilty May 12 to third-degree burglary, first offense, receiving a sentence under the Youthful Offender Act not to exceed five years, suspenced to time-served and two years' probation. He was originally charged with second-degree burglary July 18, 2016, and had been held on a %15,000 surety bond since his arrest, according to the Clarendon County Detention Center. Brandon Gregory Tucker of 1159 Tansy St. in Manning pleaded guilty May 11 to shoplifting of a value less than $2,000, receiving a sentence of 30 days in jail, suspended to time-served. According to the Clarendon County Detention Center, Tucker served two days after his arrest Feb. 12. Henry Patrick Vesey Jr. of 430 Oaklawn Road in Pelzer pleaed guilty May 11 to possession of contraband by a prison or furnishing or attempted to furnish a prisoner with contraband, receiving a sentence of time-served. Dominic White of 504 S. Boundary St. in Manning pleaded guilty May 9 to strong arm robbery, receiving a sentence of one year in prison, suspended to six months in prison and one year's probation. A charge of possession of a weapon during a violent crime was dropped. Cornell Daveon Williams of 5 Hanover Court, Apartment 81 in Sumter, pleaded guilty May 11 to second-degree burglary, non-violent, receiving a sentence under the Youthful Offender Act not to exceed two years in prison, suspended to two years' probation.
