Smith-Furse wedding

Cameron Elizabeth Smith and Ladson Blythe Furse were united in marriage Saturday, April 22, 2017, at the Episcopal Church on Edisto in Edisto Island.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louie Dennis Smith of Greenville, and the maternal granddaughter of James Clarence McHale and the late Trudy Love Beach McHale of Greenville and the late Vernon Lloyd Beach of Walterboro. She is the paternal granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Howard Smith of Greenville.

She received a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of South Carolina and is employed as a property accountant with EDENS in Columbia.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Harold Furse III of Manning, and the maternal grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lauriston Hardin Blythe of Greenville. He is the paternal grandson of Mrs. George Harold Furse Jr. and the late Mr. George Harold Furse Jr. of Manning.

He received a bachelor of science degree in financial management with a minor in accounting from Clemson University, and is employed as a credit analyst with First Palmetto Bank in Columbia.

The Rev. Robert Irving Miles Jr. officiated at the ceremony. Music was provided by Bill Goad, organist.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Louie Dennis Smith.

Amanda Brenn Gray served as the maid of honor.Bridesmaids included Mrs. Anderson Thomas Grout, Hannah Katherine Jordan, Chloe Madeline Rodgers, Lindsey Kathleen Sisk, Anna Maria Wrice and Brittany Chamberlain Wright.

Lauren Reese Furse served as junior bridesmaid.

Kyla Rhett Furse and Allison Blythe Furse served as flower girls.

George Harold Furse III, father of the groom, served as the best man.

Groomsmen included Thomas English Furse and Mark Lauriston Furse, brothers of the groom, Taylor Scott Smith, brother of the bride, William Chitwood Furse Jr., John Louden Furse and David Garet Strange.

Joe Lyndon Furse served as junior groomsmen.

The rehearsal paerty was given by the parents of the groom at Bay Creek Park at Edisto Beach.

The reception was given by the parents of the bride at Cypress Trees Plantation at Edisto Island.

After a honeymoon trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple will reside in Columbia.
