ALCOLU - Pinease Mellerson Caldwell, 91, widow of Clarence Caldwell Sr., died Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at McLeod Health Clarendon in Manning.
Born May 21, 1925, in the Potato Creek section of Clarendon County, she was a daughter of the late Callie Mellerson.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, April 24, 2017, at Historic Liberty Hill AME Church, 2310 Liberty Hill Road in Summerton, with the Rev. Robert L. China Jr., pastor, officiating; the Rev. Patrick Mellerson presiding; and the Revs. James Oliver and Emma Mellerson assisting.
Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Clarence Caldwell Jr. and Rosa Caldwell, 5176 June Burn Road in Alcolu.
Services have been entrusted to Samuels Funeral Home LLC of Manning.
