The Manning High School varsity golf team defeated West Florence Wednesday at The Palmes Course at Oakdale Country Club to move to 8-1 on the season. The team had an overall score of 170 to West Florence's 177. Monarchs Jacob Richburg and McArthur Bennett tied for match medalist with 40 points each. Monarch Hunter White scored 42 points, and Monarch Brice Laney scored 48. The next match is April 5 at Shannon Greens in Manning against Laurence Manning Academy.
