Water Environmental Federal President-elect Jenny Harfelder, right, presents Central Carolina Technical College Environmental and Natural Resources Department Chair Joshua Castleberry, center, and Dean of Workforce Development and Continuing Education Elizabeth Williams, left, with a certificate of recognition last week for the college's effort in establishing the first Water Environment Federation student chapter in South Carolina.

The college currently has seven members in the chapter at CCTC.

WEF’s studentcChapters are professional organizations for students with an interest in the environment or becoming more active in the water industry. Student chapters provide an avenue for the exchange of information and ideas between students, academics and members of the Water Environment Federation.
