To the Cribb family: while I did not know Kerrie, my church, Jordan UMC, has been praying for her for quite some time. From what I have heard, she was quite a warrior. Please accept my sincere condolences. RIP Kerrie, absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. LAURA HARRINGTON

I saw Kerrie for years throughout my stay at Coker. Though I was not a close friend of hers, I do remember her face and that glowing smile she had. I am deeply saddened by your loss. I only wish I had known her better. She was a positive spirit who made us all feel we belonged. I will remember her smile for years to come.

I went to nursing school with her. She was so sweet. She used to doodle and draw on her paper in a chair next to mine. She never raised an eyebrow while the rest of us were freaking out of the enormous amount of work and expectations. She always had a level head. I’d purposefully bother her to get a jolt out of her. She just smiled and kept it going. I already miss her. What a lovely soul she was………. There’s a resurrection hope for the dead. I look forward to seeing her in paradise!

Prayers for such a strong, loving family. Kerrie was the sweetest little girl, and grew up to be an inspiration to so many. My heart aches, but then I smile as I think of the happiness they shared as Brandon opened heaven’s gates for his precious little sister. God, please comfort this family thru all of the difficult times they have faced and have to come. Amen.

I am so saddened to hear that Kerrie has lost her valiant fight with cancer. I did not know her personally as I was much older than her, but being from Manning and a past member of Manning United Methodist Church, I have known the Cribb family all of my life. I am so very sorry for your loss of your child who was surely a beautiful, smart, talented and strong woman! She touched so many lives throughout her life! God bless all of you during this heart breaking and life changing time. I’m sure that life without her as the new normal will be a constant struggle. May God grant you all comfort and peace knowing that your two precious children are together in Heaven. With love, Carol Floyd Lepp
