Retired Col. Alexander Conyers was inducted into the South Carolina State University Hall of Fame April 8.
The distinctive honor is recognition of outstanding career accomplishments and service to the nation while Conyers served in the U.S. Army. The Manning native recently retired from the Army after 32 years of total service, including four years with the S.C. National Guard's Manning unit.
