The AARP Foundation and the Internal Revenue Service are offering free 2015 tax return preparation at First Baptist church, 49 W. Boyce St. in Manning. Appointments may be made for any time between 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Wednesdays through April 13. To make an appointment, place call the Clarendon County Council on Aging at (803) 435-8593. Walk-ins will be accepted as time permits, with preference given to seniors. In order for a tax aide to prepare your return, you must bring a Social Security card for taxpayer and dependents; a picture ID; last year’s tax return; all forms for 2015, including W2s, 1099s, 1098s and Social Security information; and, new for this year, evidence of healthcare coverage or proof of an exemption.
