On Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015, Betty Oree York departed this life at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia.
Born Aug. 24, 1966, in Manning, she was a daughter of the late William and Mazie Lee Thompson York.
Services in commemoration of Ms. York will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 3, 2015, at Manning High School, 2155 Paxville Highway in Manning, with the Rev. O'Donald Dingle, bringing the words of consolation. Interment will follow in the Scarborough Cemetery.
Viewing will be held 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016, at Fleming and DeLaine Funeral Home and Chapel.
The family will receive friends and relatives at the home, 2102 Mallet Road in the Sugar Hill community of Manning.
