When I begin to think of all the things I have to be thankful for, my cup runneth over! First, I am thankful for Jesus Christ and the mercy and provisions he extends to me daily. Next, I am thankful for my husband, Mitchell, and son, Josh, who bless my life greatly. I am also blessed with several close friends, whom I cherish. I am thankful for a job I enjoy, my Summerton Baptist Church family and the people of Clarendon County, a community who took me in as one of their own just five years ago. I am thankful for our service men and women, a good night’s sleep, Christmas movies and music, chocolate, underwear that covers everything it’s supposed to, an inside joke shared with a friend, spell-check and the telephone. Finally, I am thankful that Thursday, I will sit down with my family and enjoy a feast, football and much laughter in a country that is still free. I am thankful to love and feel loved in return.
