Clarendon's Disaster Recovery Center to close on Sundays

Clarendon County's Disaster Recovery Center behind Weldon Auditorium, where FEMA, SBA and other federal and state groups are available to help individuals affected by the recent flooding and storm damage, will be closed Sundays starting this weekend. Otherwise, the facility will be open to the public from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Nearby centers that will remain open on Sundays during the same hours, should Clarendon residents need assistance, include the Berkeley County Magistrate's Office, 303 N. Goose Creek Blvd. in Goose Creek, and Gaillard Park Rural Development Center, 848 Sandspoint St. in Eutawville. Disaster centers will remain open Veteran's Day.
