KINGSTREE - Frederick George "Fred" Teddy Sr., 82, husband of Virginia S. Tedder, died Sunday, March 22, 2015, at Carolinas Hospital System in Florence.
Born Aug. 27, 1932, in Florence, he was a son of the late Freddie Tedder and Georgie Thames Tedder. He graduated from Kingstree High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He retired from Campbell Lumber Company. He was a member of Kingstree First Baptist Church, where he was a past deacon and also former general secretary for the Sunday school.
Survivors besides his wife include his daughter, Allyson Tedder of Kingstree; two sons, George Tedder of Florence and Russell Tedder of Kingstree; and a granddaughter, Holly Tedder of Lake City.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Carolinas Hospital System for their care and kindess during his hospitalization.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at Kingstree First Baptist Church, with burial in Kingstree Memorial Gardens.
The family received friends Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at Williamsburg Funeral Home.
