Paxville Family Dollar employees report robbery

Two female employees of the Family Dollar on U.S. 15 South in Paxville told deputies with the Clarendon County Sheriff's Office about , 10:09 p.m. Tuesday that an unidentified black male entered the store, presented a black handgun and told them, "This is a robbery, give me all the money." The employees told deputies they gave the suspect two clear bags containing $1,486 in cash during the incident, which happened about 8:53 p.m. Tuesday. One of the employees said she ran to the back of the store, went out the emergency exit and ran around to the front of the store and observed the suspect run across U.S. 15 toward a wooded area. Witnesses told police the suspect was wearing black clothing, black sunglass and a black mask across his mouth and nose only. They described the man as being 30 or younger.
