MANNING-SEALManning Mayor Julia Nelson announced today that the city of Manning will receive a $350,000 grant from the S.C. Rural Infrastructure Authority to both “improve and paint (the city’s) water tank of Keitt Street … and upgrade some water lines to improve fire protection for our residents.”

“I am appreciative of the approval of council to pursue this grant and the work of our staff and city engineer in making this a successful grant application,” Nelson said. “The grant will indeed improve our infrastructure capacity to create opportunities in our area. Again, we thank the S.C. Rural Infrastructure Authority for allowing this opportunity to our city.”
