SUMMERTON - Margaret Coker Luper, 79, formerly of Timmonsville, died Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014.
Born in Florence, Maggie was a daughter of the late Adolfus C. and Margaret Ocie Mixon Coker. She worked with the Civil Service Department as an accountant before her retirement. She was married to the late William Rice Luper.
Survivors include a sister, Mary Lee Parker of Oklahoma; three nephews, Bob (Dianna) Parsons of Aiken, William Larroque of Virginia and Joe (Wendy) Larroque of Florida; three nieces, Donna (Larry) Shelton, Roben (Mike) Jefferies and Lavenda Young, all of Virginia;
A graveside service for Margaret Coker Luper was held Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014, at Byrd Cemetery in Timmonsville.
Layton-Anderson Funeral Home, 4210 W. Palmetto St. in Florence, assisted the family with arrangements.
