A 44-year-old New Zion man told deputies about 3:30 p.m. Saturday that someone broke into his 2003 GMC Yukon and scratched the passenger’s side of the vehicle, causing about $2,500 in damages, while the vehicle was parked in the 1400 block of William Gibbons Road in Turbevile between Sept. 24 and Oct. 2. The man said he is a truck driver and was out of town when the vandalism occurred.
