Addie Lucille Tedder Robinson, 76, widow of Herbert E. Robinson, died Monday, Sept. 1, 2014, at NHC Healthcare in Sumter.

Born in Florence County, she was a daughter of the late Ed Blease and Theo McGee Tedder. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher. She was employed at Sumter School District 2, Campbell Soup Co. and Porter's Grill.

Survivors include a son, Robert Calhoun (Marji) Robinson of Summerton; a grandson, Robert James "R.J." Robinson; and her sister-in-law and roommate, Zelene Robinson.

Funeral services for Addie Lucille Tedder Robinson will be held noon Thursday, Sept. 4, 2014, at Concord Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Eugene Mosier, the Rev. Mike Lowder and Wendell Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Florence National Cemetery.

Robbie Tedder, Jerry Watts, Bobby Robinson, O'Neal Robinson, Jamie Calhoun and Csaba Tamas Bacsi will serve as pallbearers.

Mendel Coward, Eddie Tedder, Furman Grooms, Daniel Lyles, Lonnie Davis and James Calhoun will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home, and other times at the home of her niece, Betsy Watts, 620 One Mile Road in Gable.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Mayes DuBose, the staff of NHC Healthcare and Amedisys Hospice.
