Linda Diane Smith Boyce Roberts

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Linda Diane Smith Boyce Roberts, 66, died Saturday, July 19, 2014, at Nathan Adelson Hospice House in Las Vegas.
Born March 30, 1948, in Plainfield, N.J., she was a daughter of Cora I. Taylor Smith and the late William E. Smith. She attended the public schools of Warren Township, Middlesex High School, Rutgers University and Northeaster University Law School.
She was first married to Luther T. Boyce, and to this union two children were born. Later, she married Louis M. Roberts, with whom she had two children.
Survivors besides her mother include four children, Lisa Boyce Tinker of Boston, Mass., and Corey Boyce, Jason Roberts and Joshua Roberts, all of Pinewood; a sister, Nancy Anderson of Augusta, Ga.; two brothers, Edgar Richard Smith and Leonard Smith, both of Pinewood; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Celebratory services for Linda Diane Smith Boyce Roberts will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014, at Hayes F. & LaNelle J. Samuels Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 N. Church St. in Manning. Discourse will be provided by Brother James Simmons. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park in Sumter.
The family will receive friends at the home of her brother, Leonard Smith, 1232 Church Road in Pinewood.
