A 72-year-old man living in the 3400 block of Wash Davis Road in Summerton told deputies about 9:30 a.m. May 28 that an unknown person entered his yard between 10 p.m. May 27 and the time of his report and took three chickens. The man told deputies that he believes the same person took nine more of his chickens in the previous week. He said someone had also killed two chickens and had possibly injured one of his ducks. Estimated damages were $300.
