LMA played Orangeburg Prep Monday at home, 3-2. Orangeburg Prep took a 2-0 lead in the first half. At half time, Andrew Compton gave the team an emotional speech about desire and effort that sparked a big comeback win for LMA. In the second half, Austin Stout scored early with an assist from Tyler Barrett. Next, Stout had a direct kick from just outside the 18-yard line that the goalie couldn't handle. The third goal came on a foul on Stout inside the 18-yard line that resulted in a P.K. The defense allowed four shots-on-goal, with Tyler Barrett and Will Wannamaker and John Nguyen leading the way. LMA plays Pinewood Preparatory School at 5 p.m. today at home.
