The Manning High School class of 1955 held their 68th class reunion on Saturday, August 26th at the Santee Cooper Country Club. This celebration of the leal and loyal sons and daughters was sponsored and hosted by F. Deleon “Popeye” Scott. It was catered by Catering for All Occasions of Manning. The activities included a benevolent benediction, joyful reunions, abundant reminiscence, scrumptious appetizers, savory dining, succulent desserts, updates and announcements, gaming for prizes, nostalgic music on the dance floor and a resounding rendition of the Manning high School Alma Mater.
In an ever changing world that sometimes seems divisive, it is always nice to return to your roots, reunite and reflect upon those with whom you share common ground.
