Around 4:39 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2023, a hoemowner from 4500 Block of Alex Harvin Hwy was out of town and got an alert from his Blink Camera that someone was in the house. He could see the subject on camera. The homeowner called Clarendon County Dispatch to report the incident. Deputies responded and were on scene just minutes after the call. Upon arrival, deputies found that the front door appeared to have had forced entry. Deputies did a call-out to anyone inside the residence but received no response. One of the deputies on scene noticed movement on a window curtain. K-9 Handler, along with other deputies, including K-9 Cujo, entered the residence. K-9 Cujo located the suspect under a bed inside the residence. Subject was placed under arrest and transported to thge Clarendon County Detention Center. Updates will be made available.
