A 30-year-old Manning man told police about 10 p.m. Feb. 11 that he has been received threatening texts from a 33-year-old Summerton man in relation to an incident that had nothing to do with the victim.
The victim showed police the texts from the man, one of which said “F--- your punk a--, N----,” and another that said, “I’m gonna knock the crooked eye of yrs str8 (sic). No gun cuz I’m a f----- man … “
The victim told police he does not know why he’s receiving the threats and that he hadn’t responded to any of them. Police advised the victim to keep out of any contact with the suspect and to call law enforcement immediately should the suspect act on the threats.
