The Manning Times Publisher introduces staff

Posted

The staff of The Manning Times has some new faces that readers and advertisers have seen around town. In June of 2022, Katherine (Kat) Hutchinson, came aboard as the Managing Editor and head of the graphics department. Hutchinson is a native of New Zion and a recent newlywed. The former Managing Editor, Jake McElveen, was promoted to Publisher at the Clinton Chronicle and Hutchinson filled the position upon his departure.

In July of 2022, Alexandria (Alex) Feagin joined the staff and was trained to become Office Manager. If you call The Manning Times office to make a payment, give a story idea, or renew or subscribe, Alex will most likely be the one that will assist you. Alex also covers weekly stories.

In February of 2023, the Marketing Director position was filled by Gracen Parker. Parker, like Feagin, is originally from Lake City. Parker holds a degree in Hotel/Restaurant management.

This June a summer intern, Ryleigh Maynard, who is a rising sophomore at Laurence Manning Academy, rounded out the staff. Maynard is learning all areas of the paper including journalism.
