Tammy Lynn Ard, 47, passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023, surrounded by her family and friends after a battle with cancer.
Born September 12, 1975, in Kingstree, she was a daughter of the late Hampton Ard and the late Nancy Bartlette Ard. She attended Furman High School in Sumter. Tammy enjoyed shopping, fishing, and shooting pool.
She is survived by three sons, Mitchell Ard (Michaela) of Baxter, TN, Patrick Aaron Herb of Manning, and Harley Ard of Bishopville, a granddaughter, Shelby of Manning, a sister, Sandy Rogers of Lake City, a brother, Henry Ard of Manning, special cousin, Vanessa Lynn McLeod (Joey) of Manning, special friends, James Rigdon, Stephanie and Brian Kirby, and Carolyn Welch all of Manning; and many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends and her beloved dog, Sucker.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Stephens Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home. Tammy’s favorite color was blue and the family ask that if everyone would please wear blue to honor Tammy.
