The Clarendon County Pilot Club presented its annual scholarships to four Clarendon County graduating seniors recently. The awards are given in memory of Dotty McFaddin, a founding member of the club, to a deserving student going into the medical field. McFaddin herself worked in the medical field and was highly respected statewide. Dr. Ansel McFaddin awarded $500 scholarships to the students, who included Clarendon Hall graduate Kerington Blair Shaffer.
