Pilot Club gives scholarships to five graduating students

The Clarendon  County Pilot Club presented $1000 scholarships to five high schools in Clarendon County during the month of May. These were presented at Class Day, with the exception of one school as  there was no application from Clarendon Hall.

The scholarship has to go to a senior going into the medical field. The scholarships are given in memory of Dotty McFaddin who was the founder of the Clarendon Pilot Club 27 years ago.  Dr. AR McFaddin donates every year.

The recipient from Laurence Manning Academy  was Karley Denise Brown, from Scott’s Branch High School the recipient was Yaqulin Asijtuj Osori. The recipient from East Clarendon High School was Cohen N. Lewis and from Manning High School the recipient was Mattison Grace Casselman.

The Pilot Club will be under new leadership starting in July as Neel Lesesne will take over as the new President.
