Morris Bruce “Reese” Harrison, 91, widower of Dolores Ruth Loveless Harrison, died Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at McLeod Health Clarendon.
Born January 10, 1932, in Guilford, NC, he was the son of the late Raleigh Bruce Harrison and the late Bessie Louis Swink Harrison. He was a retired US Navy & Air Force veteran who served on the ground in the Korean War and served two tours in the Vietnam War.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing, watching the Andy Griffith Show and eating breakfast at the Corner Diner.
He is survived by three children, Raymond Harrison (Joe) of Guerneville, CA, Julie Ann Ivey (Randy) of Leland, NC and William Harrison (Robin) of Clearwater, FL; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a sister, Cheryl Bennett of North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
