On February 23, 2020 at approximately 1:16 am deputies with the Clarendon County Sheriff's Office responded to the report of a missing person at 1290 Herod Drive in the Manning area of Clarendon County.
Corey Terell McFadden, a 27-year-old black male was reported to be missing after friends attempted to pick him up from his home for his birthday celebration before midnight. While continuing to work the missing persons case, investigators along with family members located Mr. McFadden, who was found deceased, on a property nearby. Mr. McFadden had succumbed to apparent gunshot wounds.
