Free blood pressure tests and snacks were provided to those attending the event while members of McLeod Health Clarendon, the Clarendon County Chamber of Commerce, and Mayor Julia Nelson spoke.

A news release stated that McLeod planned and renovated the building to address the increasing healthcare demands of the people living in and around Clarendon County.

The President of Clarendon County Chamber, Jason Montgomery, expressed pride in the continuous growth of McLeod Health Clarendon.

Former Representative Kimberly Johnson, Clarendon County Administrator David Epperson, Clarendon County Planning Commission Vice Chair Lannes Prothro, and McLeod Health Clarendon CEO Rachel Gainey were among the attendees at the open house, along with other prominent members of the community.
