The Laurence Manning Academy B-Team opened its 2014 season with a 32-12 victory over Orangeburg Prep on Thursday in Orangeburg. Wyatt Rowland rolled up more than 200 yards of total offense for the Swampcats. Rowland scored on runs of 46, 75, 18 and 42 years all in the first half of the game. He also scored three two-point conversions as well.
Davis Clemmons scored the final two-point conversion on a pass from Justin Lowder.
The Swampcats were led defensively by Shane Stephens and Trey Sharpe, both of which recorded 12 tackles that night.
They play again 5 p.m. Thursday at home against Heathwood Hall.
