The King Team for Clarendon County Relay for Life has planned two fundraisers for the 2014 season. The team is frequently one of the top fundraisers for the county, which raised more than $110,000 altogether last year. This year's goal is $120,000.
The King Team will first hold its annual Yard Sale from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 15, featuring men's, women's and children's clothing; toys; furniture; appliances; knick-knacks; and more. They welcome donated items from Clarendon residents. They will be selling fried fish sandwiches for $4 and lemonade for $1.
The Celebration of Life Gala will be held in May. The King Team will release further details on that event later. Tickets are $50 each, and sponsorships are available from $250 to $1,000.
