Clarendon County sheriff seeks suspect in April burglary

The Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a Florence County man wanted in connection with a burglary in Manning.

According to the sheriff’s office, Christopher Luke Nichol is wanted for his alleged involvement in a burglary at Bob’s Body Shop, located at 2150 Alex Harvin Highway, which occurred Tuesday evening, April 29, 2025.

Nichol is described as a white male, 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing approximately 180 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Investigators said Nichol is known to drive a dark gray 2015 Ford F-250 Super Duty pickup truck. The vehicle is registered in South Carolina with license plate number 306 BGJ.

The case is being investigated by Investigator Allen. Anyone who makes contact with Nichol or has information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact the Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office at 803-435-4415. Tips may also be submitted anonymously by calling the sheriff’s office tip line at 803-433-8477.

Authorities cautioned the public not to approach the suspect and to contact law enforcement immediately with any information.
