Chamber hosts Lunch & Learn with Troy University

The Clarendon County Chamber of Commerce welcomed Troy University representatives on Oct. 22 for a Lunch & Learn event designed to connect local professionals with higher education opportunities.

Guests enjoyed a complimentary Chick-fil-A boxed lunch while learning about Troy’s extensive online degree programs, available to working adults and chamber members seeking to advance their education. Enrollment Manager Ashley Strickland from Troy’s Sumter site provided information on flexible programs tailored to fit modern lifestyles, including undergraduate and graduate degrees in fields such as business, education, criminal justice, political science, and social work.

Troy University, based in Troy, Alabama, has been recognized nationally for its commitment to both academic excellence and affordability. Its online platform allows students to pursue associate, bachelor’s, and certificate programs from anywhere, with courses designed to accommodate busy schedules and career goals. Among the highlighted offerings were degrees in Resource and Technology Management, Applied Computer Science, Cyber Security, and Hospitality, Sport, and Tourism Management.
