Carolyn Jean Duke Jackson, 85, wife of Charles Allen Jackson, Sr., died Thursday, July 27, 2023, at her home.
Born February 28, 1938, in Little Rock, AR, she was a daughter of the late Cecil Duke and the late Lillian Bernice Sawyer Duke. She was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church of Florence.
She is survived by her husband of 65 ½ years of Manning; three children, Charles A. Jackson, Jr. of Manning, Cheryl Smith (Jeffrey) of Isle of Palms and Cary Jackson of Manning; two granddaughters, Jessica Smith and Ashley Moose (Jamie); a great granddaughter, Emmalene Smith; two sisters, Barbara Hilton (Bob) of Summerton and Virginia Sue Davis of Little Rock, AR; a brother, Bill Duke (Penny) of Conway, AR; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private.
