A single vehicle crash led to one fatality on July 24 around 4:30 p.m. The vehicle was traveling on I-95, northbound when the crash occured. The vehicle was found in a wooded area between Wash Davis Road and mile marker 111 around 8:20 p.m.
The deceased has been identified as Rodney Wallace Gantt, born Apr. 14, 1981 of Summerton, SC.
South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the collision.
