On Tuesday Feb. 14, local attorney Shaun Kent from Kent Law Firm announced that he is partnering with the Manning Chick-Fil-A to purchase lunch once a month for every single child in Clarendon School District through the end of April.
Kent spoke about his childhood and remembered how hard his parents worked to provide for him and his siblings.
On behalf of the school district, Superintendent Dr. Shawn Johsnon was in attendance and spoke on how he too is a child of poverty and thanked Kent and Will Lane, the owner of Manning Chick-Fil-A.
