The Clarendon County Fire Department responded to a home at 2006 Greeleyville Highway on Friday after a brief thunderstorm toppled a tree, causing it to fall on a powerline and nearly clip the home.
The storm, which happened about 2:30 p.m. Friday, featured a heavy downpour and wind gusts of up to 35 mph.
No one was hurt in the incident.
