Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Watson Bleasdale Jr. of Alcolu announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Ashleigh Bleasdale, to Christopher Allen Mahoney, son of Mr. John Allen Mahoney of Manning and the late Mrs. Gwen H. Mahoney.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. John B. Tennant Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Watson Bleasdale Sr., all of Alcolu, and the late Mrs. Elizabeth C. Tennant. She is a graduate of Laurence Manning Academy and Florence Darlington Technical College. She is employed with Wesmark Family Dentistry as a registered dental hygienist.
The groom-elect is the son of Mr. John Allen Mahoney of Manning and the late Mrs. Gwen H. Mahoney of Manning, and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Donald Hardy Sr. of New Zion, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Claude Nathaniel Mahoney of Manning. He is a graduate of Laurence Manning Academy, and received a bachelor of science degree in retail management from the University of South Carolina. He is employed with Santee Cooper.
The wedding is scheduled for May 21, 2016, at New Harmony Presbyterian Church in Manning.
