Thomas Ellison King and Paulette Gilford King of Manning announce the engagement of their son, Craig Quentin King, to Tasia Renee Wilson, daughter of Albert Brown and Alfreda Laverne Golden Brown of Irmo.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Elmore Golden and Naomi Golden. She received a bachelor of science in elementary education from the University of South Carolina and a master of arts in education from Southern Wesleyan University. She is employed as the technology learning coach at Bookman Road Elementary School in Columbia.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Pauline Gilfrod of Eastover and the late Benjamin Elliott, and the late Simuel King and Ada Dozier King. He received a bachelor of science in elementary education from South Carolina State University, and a master of arts in rehabilitation counseling from South Carolina State University. He is employed as the director of Governmental Affairs at the Palmetto State Teachers Association in Columbia.
The wedding is planned for April 23, 2016, at Seibels House and Garden - Historic Columbia.
