LAKE CITY - Quashawn Hannah, 28, died Friday, Oct. 3, 2014.
"Big Slim," as he was known, a son of Linda Hanna and Truman Burroughs. He attended Lake City public schools and Mt. Clair Baptist Church, and worked at East Coast Erosin in Lake City.
Survivors besides his mother and father include three brothers, Corey Hannah of Lake City, Truman (Sonya) Burroughs of Maryland and Demetrius Burroughs of Florence; two sisters, Valerie (Clifford) Hannah of Lake City and Amy McFadden of Myrtle Beach; his aunts and uncles, Carolyn (Harry) Frierson, Earnestine Hannah, Sandra Hannah, Mary (Ernest) Camerson, Sara Williams, Roger (Constance) Hannah, Rufus Hannah, Charlie (Dorothy) Burroughs, Countnay Burroughs, Larry Hannah and Abraham Burroughs; a special friend, Angel Fleming; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Quashawn Hannah were held Friday, Oct. 10, 2011, at Mt. Clair Missionary Baptist Church, 1009 E. Main St. in Lake City, with the Rev. W.L. Thompson officiating. Burial followed in Rest Lawn Cemetery, directed by Green's Funeral Home.
