Vivian Marie White Turner, 83, widow of Rev. Isom Bennie Turner, died Monday, August 10, 2020, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Born August 18, 1936, in Manning, she was a daughter of the late Harry Vinson White and the late Mattie Haley White. She was a graduate of Manning High School and a member of Cornerstone Fellowship Free Will Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Patara Marie Turner of Manning; three grandsons, Benjamin Hyman of Charlotte, NC, Vinson Hyman (Alexis) and Jason Turner Hyman, both of Manning; and a great granddaughter, Serenity Hyman.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jason Turner.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at Cornerstone Fellowship Free Will Baptist Church with the Revs. John Matthews, Pete Minor and Gene Gilbert officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Shayne Stephens, Tony Morris, Vinson Hyman, Jason Hyman, Benjamin Hyman, Johnny Timmons, and Brandon Johnson.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church and other times at the residence, 25 N. Barfield Street, Manning.
