Later that evening, at approximately 7:20 p.m., a second fatal collision took place on Salem Road near Burnt Branch Road. Kyle Kirby Green, 25, of New Zion, was driving eastbound in a 2003 Dodge Caravan when the vehicle veered off the right side of the road, struck a tree, and overturned. Green, the sole occupant, was pronounced dead at the scene.
