Trailer, lift gate stolen from Austrian Pine area

A forest green Toplin JT-10 trailer with a mesh back lift gate and mesh sides, along with battery charges for an electric fence and an electrical box, all valued at $2,650, were reportedly stolen from the Austrian Pine area of Manning between July 17 and 9:34 a.m. July 20. The trailer’s 55-year-old owner told deputies with the Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office, according to reports, that he and his employees had disconnected the trailer from his tractor while they were working his farm in the area because “the tractor was functioning improperly.” When the workers returned to the field July 20, they noticed the trailer was gone, along with its contents.
