Manning High School has announced parking and traffic details ahead of its 2025 graduation ceremony, which will take place on Friday, May 30, at 7 p.m. in the John Franklin Thames Gymnasium.

Designated parking areas have been assigned for various groups attending the ceremony. Graduates will park on the band practice field located on the side of the school. Each graduate will be issued one parking pass, which must be presented to access this lot.

The student parking lot next to the tennis courts has been designated for guests of the graduates. Additional overflow parking will be available on the practice football field and in other marked areas on campus.

Clarendon County School District Board Members and administrative staff will have reserved spaces, as will faculty and staff in the designated teacher lot. Marshalls and support personnel will also have a separate parking area.

Handicapped parking will be located in the rear lot of the school and is available only to vehicles displaying proper decals or license plates. After those spaces are filled, some overflow non-handicap parking will be available in the same lot on a first-come, first-served basis.

To ensure pedestrian safety and event logistics, the road between Manning High School and Manning Junior High School will be closed to vehicle traffic. Attendees are strongly encouraged to arrive early to allow time to park and walk to the gymnasium.

Doors to the gym will close promptly at 6:45 p.m. and will remain closed until all graduates are seated. Only guests with designated tickets will be admitted to the gym. Once capacity is reached, additional attendees will be directed to a nearby lecture hall where the ceremony will be live-streamed.

A parking diagram is available to assist guests in locating their appropriate areas. School officials urge all attendees to review the map in advance and follow signage and staff directions on the day of the event.
