Timothy “Timmy” William Matthews, 55, died Sunday, March 2, 2025, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.
Born March 28, 1969, in Lake City, he was a son of Sherian Matthews Matthews and the late Charlie William “C.W.” Matthews. Timothy was very adventurous, loved to travel and loved his job as a videographer. He loved life.
He is survived by his mother of Manning; a brother, Cliff Matthews of Turbeville; two nephews, Dylan Matthews of Manning and Cameron Matthews of PA; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
There are no services at this time.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at McLeod Regional Medical Center for their excellent care and special thanks to Karen, Lisa, Deborah, Sandra, Larry, Evelyn, and Nelma for the love and care they showed Timmy.
