After losing the Region 7-2A title Monday night, East Clarendon was looking to bounce back against Mullins.

The Wolverines varsity boys basketball team traveled to Mullins High School for region matchup Wednesday night. The atmosphere in the building was electric as it was the Auctioneers Senior Night. EC had one thing on their mind, to spoil the party.

East Clarendon came out hot in the first two quarters scoring a total of 40 points. They took a 12 point lead into the locker room and seemed to be feeling very confident. However, the Auctioneers came out looking to play extremely physical at the start of the third.

Mullins only allowed 20 points in the final two quarters. Their offense was feeding off the defense and the momentum was in their favor. The Auctioneers scored 6 in the third but 24 in the fourth. Mullins would eventually fall 60-58 but it wasn't for the lack of trying. EC ends their regular season with a big road win.

EC finishes their season 18-5 and 12-2 in the region. Marquis Pearson had a team high 17 points on 6 of 13 shooting. Tyjhai Calvin went for 15 and Keyon Wilson had 14.
